Candlelight Dinners – several times a year we have a candlelight dinner. These dinners are usually provided by community groups or businesses. There is usually a small fee for the dinner and usually there is entertainment and prizes.
Trips – trips are planned for several times per year. Some are small groups that ride on our senior center bus. Other trips may be larger on a chartered bus. There is usually a cost involved to cover expenses. We take various trips such as fishing, casinos, plays, museums, local county events.
“Getty at the Eddie” Annual Art Show – all art classes, craft classes, photography class, kinitting/crochet class and jewelry class have the opportunity to showcase their creativity. The senior center is transformed into an art exhibition. Visitors attend for free and have the opportunity to purchase the art work from the artist.
Ladies Day – this event is usually held in the spring around June. Attendees are treated to a nice luncheon, fashion show and many door prizes. It is a nice day – just for the ladies.
July 4th – we open the senior center for the holiday. For a small fee, everyone can enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs and lots of fun. Entertainment and games are also included. The evening ends out in our parking lot watching the fireworks from Mt. Rubidoux.
